You may find yourself in a situation where you need to add a video to the existing one on the timeline and place it on the same layer. This guide will show you how to achieve that. (The video guide is below as well)

The video on this project is 1 minute 24 seconds and it is maxed out on the timeline. In this demo, we will add an additional video with 9 seconds of playtime

Step 1. Get the playtime of the video you'd like to add

Step 2. Click the playtime on the timeline

Step 3. Add the time you'd like to add to the existing one, in this case, 1:24 + 15 (I mentioned 9 earlier but I want more space) = 1:39. Type in the new figure and hit enter on your keyboard

Now you can add the additional video and still have more space

That's it, you are done.

PS: the timeline will automatically adjust the extra space at the end when you click on Save.
