Using Overlay Element

An overlay is a special effect between two videos on the timeline. To add this to your video project, click on Add Media on the left side panel.

Step 2. On the Videos tab, add the first video to the timeline by clicking on the use button

Step 3. Repeat Step 2 to add the second video to the timeline.

Step 4. After adding the second video, Click Elements.

Step 5. Scroll down on the Elements list and click Overlays

Step 6. Scroll through and click on any of the presets you would like to use.

Step 7. Click to preview the overlay effect.

Step 8. Click USE to proceed.

Step 9. Click the color icon if you'd like to change the default color.

Step 10. On the color palette, make a color selection and click outside the color box to effect the change.

Step 11. Repeat Step 10 for the secondary color.

Step 12. Click to preview the overlay effect with the new colors.

Step 13. On the timeline, click and drag the second Video from Step 3, then drop it close at the right side of the first one.

Step 14. Drag the overlay effect on the timeline and drop above the close separation between the two videos.

Step 15. Click the play icon to see a preview of the video project.

16. Click Save to save changes.
