Blend Modes is an element that allows you to obscure the lower layer by covering it with whatever is present in the top layer. You can use it with an image or a video element. To use it with a video element, click on Add Media.

Step 2. On the Videos tab, add the video to the timeline using the USE button.

Step 3. Click Elements

Step 4. Scroll down on the Elements list and click Blend Modes

Step 5. On the Blend Mode list, make a choice by clicking on the (+) plus icon.

Step 6. Ensure the Blend mode image is on the same play length as the video. To adjust the Blend Mode image on the timeline, hover your mouse over the right side of the element and adjust accordingly.

Step 7. The Blend Mode image and video at almost the same play length after adjustment.

Step 8. Click to preview the video project on the timeline.

Step 9. Click to save changes. Repeat the same steps for Blend Modes for Images.
